Trying to get pregnant after tubal or ectopic pregnancy ruptures?

Last Monday I had a tubal pregnancy rupture and had the left tube removed. My doctor is very encouraging, but says it will be more difficult to get pregnant again. I have been TTC for two+ years and had a few pregnancies that ended in miscarriage. Anyone else go through this or have any tips? Thanks

I had my left rupture also and was told I should be ok to have another be, well I have 2 more ectopics since my first on. My 3rd ectopic was diagnosed on Sept 15, 2009. Sorry i dont have any tips..but good luck !!

I’m sorry for your loss. I too had an ectopic with right tube removal 1-15-2007. I still haven’t gotten pregnant again!! My doctor told me the same thing that I can still get pregnant it just may take longer. I would start Vitex, calcium supplements, cod liver or fish oil, Geritol Complete and vitamin B6 or 12. I hope we both get our BFP real soon! :)

I understand what you are experiencing.  Actually a friend of mine could not get pregnant for about 10 years at age 43 and now she has 2 beautiful children.  She decided to share what she found with women having difficulty getting pregnant no matter what their issue was.  She explains how to get pregnant naturally within 2-4 months no matter what your situation is.  She’ll actually give you one and one counseling for 3 months to ensure you get pregnant.  You can find more information about the book she wrote here on this website.  Good Luck!  If you follow her advice, you will get pregnant and live a happier life!

I’ve been in a similar situation. At age 31 I tried to get pregnant for more than 20 months with no success. Finally at age 33 I did it and got pregnant naturally. Today I have two beautiful and healthy kids.

Here some of the things that were helpful for me to get pregnant faster:

Too Much Sex Won’t Get You Pregnant

Most people think, more times, means more chances, and they strive for 3x a day if possible. (I said strive for, I don’t think too many accomplish this!!)

Many studies show, this can actually do more harm than good. Frequent ejaculation can reduce the concentration of sperm, making it less potent, so to speak. And if your partner has a low sperm count (which you may not even know), this can have disastrous effects.
It’s best to "try" no more than once a day or every other day. This frequency schedule will optimize your chances for success.

Don’t Hop Up And Run To The Bathroom Right After You Make Sex.

Lying down for at least a few minutes (some fertility experts say five minutes) after intercourse increases the odds that the sperm will be able to keep their date with the awaiting egg and that you’ll win at baby roulette.

    Start Taking Folic Acid Soon

You reduce your chances of giving birth to a baby with a neural tube defect (for example, anencephaly or spina bifida) by 50% to 70% if you start taking at least 0.4 mg of folic acid each day two to three months before you start trying to get pregnant.

Make Your Vaginal Environment As Sperm-Friendly As Possible.

Avoid vaginal sprays and scented tampons (which can cause a pH imbalance in your vagina); artificial lubricants, vegetable oils, and glycerin (because they can kill off sperm); saliva (because saliva can also kill sperm); and douching (because it alters the normal acidity of the vagina; can cause vaginal infections and/or pelvic inflammatory disease; and may wash away the cervical mucus that is needed to transport the sperm).

Anyhow I won’t recommend buying all these quick fix solutions to getting pregnant, the "magic bullets", pills, and the ‘get pregnant in 2 weeks’ hyped up programs.

If you really want to conceive the best result for the treatment of infertility has been reported through the Chinese medicines, acupuncture and of course, the holistic approach.

The holistic approach reaches to the depth of the problem and only then delivers physical, spiritual as well as emotional treatment, rather than only investigating the organs. On the other side, the conventional approach to the problem of infertility fails to successfully detect and remove the real causes and moreover, causes side effects.

The holistic approach suggests a natural remedy and a way of life that can really solve the problem as soon as the real cause is determined.

I followed very popular holistic system that was written by Chinese medicine researcher, alternative health and nutrition specialist, health consultant and former infertility sufferer that helped 1000′s to get pregnant naturally so far. 2 months after I started following this system I’ve got pregnant and I believe that this system was the key reason that I now have 2 healthy and beautiful kids.

I learned about this holistic system in this blog of a woman that got pregnant after age 37 with this system. Check it out here:

I hope that these tips will be helpful for you.
