I have a friend who just admitted she feels an overwhelming need to get pregnant. She is a good mother to the children she has, but has a lot of financial problems. I have children also, but I just can’t understand why she feels her body NEEDS to be pregnant. Is it attention? What should I tell her?

If you still feel you want to say something then I would simply say something like "Think about your financial situation, you will want to give your baby everything they need without having to worry. The last thing you want is to let your baby see you under stress when you’re not secure" Also, with our economic crisis that’s the last thing she should be thinking about, has she been under a rock? They say at this point in time it costs an average of $550,000 to raise a child.
