I was told if you have sex 14 days after the day you start your period you will get pregnant…is this true??When should you do it to get pregnant?

Me and my partner have been trying for a baby since june this year. Firstly your not trying very long at all, sorry for saying that cos i know you hate hearing it, i know i did whe i started TTC, I was like you a year ago, i was’nt pregnant after 2 months and fretting and putting questions on here. Looking back now i got myself worked up very early. I researched just about everything to do with fertility and conception known to mankind and still nothing. I went through a phase of living my life from month to month, it was like 1st week period, few days break, next 2 weeks baby making (had to do it over 2 weeks cos my periods are 29 days – 35 so i didnt know when i ovulated exactly), we’ve an appointment Wednes week with a specialist, was 3 months waiting for app, going private cos dont want to wait. I think the best thing you can do is buy ovulation sticks, i bought the clear blue fertility monitor but to be honest i never used it much cos the sticks are expensive and it played up a bit for me. Its sickening to think i have to buy all this rubbish to concieve when all it takes it one tiny sperm to fertilize an egg, i wouldnt mind if i didnt want to get pregnant i would. With regards your contraception i’ve been off the pill 2 years now so i dont think its the underlying reason why people cant get pregnant.

I had unprotected sex on Monday September 5th and I ovulated that Friday on the 9th. Could I be pregnant by now? My boyfriend ejaculated inside me &’ I heard that sperm can live up to 5-7 days in the cervix? And if I could be pregnant, how far along could I be in weeks?

I’m supposed to get my period this Friday so I’ll be testing next week if I miss my period.
