Sorry I wasn’t sure how to word it, but why do some pregnant women experience a metallic taste in their mouths? I just randomly got it today and its pretty gross and I was just curious does your iron go up more when pregnant or something? Thanks in advance. (:
I guess its all part of being pregnant…i have it now and its the worst….they only thing i can tell u is to brush ur teeth every time u eat something and try sucking on mints…o yea and drink plenty of water..good luck

i had a miscarriage ( blighted ovum) on June 17th 2011. and i bled for about a week and my boyfriend and i wanted to try again. so how long can i get pregnant again after that?,
PS i didnt get my period yet again.
we are waiting we have been with him for 2 years

I usually get my period between the 22nd – 25th.. and me and my husband had sex 5 days ago (the 17th) is that a good time to try and get pregnant? or should we have tried a bit sooner in the month?
If your cycle is following the same general schedule, then yes, the 17th was too late.
If your period ends up coming on the 25th, then you most likely ovulated somewhere around the 11th, give or take a couple of days. Ovulation causes your period to follow about two weeks later. (Different amounts of time for different women, but it’s generally between 12 and 16 days– two weeks on average. 13 for me, but maybe different from you.) So counting backward about two weeks from when you expect your next period lets you know when you *might* ovulate.
Note: Still, there’s no biological law that your current cycle has to be anything like your last cycles. So predicting future ovulation by simply counting out a certain number of days is not a sure-fire way to figure out when you ovulate. It’s better than nothing, but not by much. For example, I usually ovulate on something like the 28th day past the start of a period (I have long cycles but still ovulate). But my last cycle, I suddenly ovulated on the 20th day, at least a week earlier than expected. (So I also knew to expect my period about a week earlier.) That can happen to anyone. So who knows, maybe you get lucky and you ovulated late this cycle.
For a better idea of when to TTC, monitor your cervical fluid. (This is what most people call "vaginal discharge" even though that’s a really gross term for something so normal and healthy.) When your cervical fluid inside your vagina strongly resembles chicken egg-whites (clear, stretchy, slippery) and you generally just feel "wet" even when you’re not aroused, then it means you are likely going to ovulate in the near future. Monitoring those fluids are a more accurate way than day-counting to figure out when to time intercourse to conceive.

trying to conceive baby #2 with husband. trying for a girl cause i have a 3yr son. didnt have sex day i was ovulating cause i really wanna conceive a baby girl. what are my chances if last period was on july 2 had sex on july 6 (twice), 9, 11, 12 14 19. was ovulating on july 16. did i have sex the right days to get pregnant? was the sex on the 14th good enought to get pregnant? what are my chances of being pregnant? trying to conceive a baby girl cause i have a 3yr old son and would love a baby girl. also can only have sex until july 23 cause we are going on vacation until aug. 24. please let me know thanks when is best to take a pregnancy test? this morning when i used the bathroom i noticed some whiteish/clearish sticky discharge kinda thick, what can that mean? also been noticing that i been more wet down there. what can it mean?also can you get pregnant if you have sex doggy style and then lay down and put your legs up in the air? and if i am pregnant when will i get implantation bledding? i had implantiaon bledding with my son but not sure when i got it. thanks
I would be happy with what sex you get. There is only a 50/50 chance of getting a girl or boy so be thankful for what you get.
And its up to your husband if he has alot of girlie sperm or not. If you had a boy your more likely to have another boy, but since your using the shettles method then your chances of conceiving a girl goes up some, but I have known women who did it before ovulation and still had a boy.
Discharge is a good sign, but I had the same thing last month from 5dpo to 12dpo and then it dried up and I got my period on time on 14dpo. So goodluck its not a really good indication of pregnancy the only way for sure is if you miss your period dear.
And I also had a friend who did it on ovulation day and had a girl so you can never really tell.

I hv got a wife an evil wife whom I married 9 months back(arranged marriage). From day 1 she did not mix well with my family. She works in a Private Co., but does not bother to tell me how and where she is spending her salary. I dont hv knowledge of her bank accounts even. I and my father bear all the expenses of the home. I bear her personal expenses too . She dosent contribute a penny to the house. Neither does she do any household work, my old mother has to do all the work, while my madam sits comfortably in her room watching TV.
She dosent hv dinner together with the family, because of her I too hv to sit separately from my parents for dinner in my room with her. The place for dinner is dining room but who can make her understand this.
My wife is always nagging me on something on the other. She keeps saying she is sad here and blah blah. I have been very calm and loving towards her always.2 months after marraige she used to pick up quarrel with my mom for no ryme and reason. My Dad gave her his piece of mind then she stopped quarelling with my mother.But still her behaviour with my parents is quite on the rude side.
She dosent do any work or little work in my house but she worked like a Donkey for 20 days in her parents house when her brother’s wife was pregnant. Such r her double-standards.
Recently she had high fever during mid-night, I immediately took her to Doctor and got her treated and personally administered her all the medicines for 3 days. Still she says I dont care for her.
Even my mother was so kind to her during her illness still she continues her unconcerned behaviour with my mom. Because of all this tension our sex life has also got effected.She says she loves and cares for me, but her actions speak other wise.
All of a sudden she has started washing my clothes, but that also not with the intention of doing my work, but to create more tension. She wastes so much soap and water while washing clothes, plus she dosent want my mother to come into my room to keep my clothes.
Even after such kind behaviour from my parents she dosent speak at all with them.
I fear my wife may become pregnant soon? After pregnancy her tantrums will see no limits. What to do? I am in a catch-22 situation.
I am living with my parents as they are very old plus I have a joint business with my father, so I cannot even think of separating from my loving parents. My parents hv been very loving and caring than most parents are and I cannot think about leaving them to live alone with this partly insane wife of mine?
I am from India and divorce under Hindu law is virtually impossible unless its by mutual consent.
Sucks to be you and that poor child she is carrying. Shouldn’t have been a douche and gotten an arranged in this case a deranged marriage to begin with.

I have had women of all ages tell me that after they had their first child, the second pregnancy happened almost on the first try. Do you think its true that women get pregnant much much faster after their first baby?
All my friends/family claim they only tried for one cycle & they got Pregnant straight away!
I think it depends on the woman, It took me 8 months to fall pregnant with my daughter and we are still trying for baby #2 after 15 months of trying.
