i had sex about 2 or 3 weeks ago, is this too early to tell? like with symptoms and stuff?
i think i could be, but i dont know if or when i should get a test done about it … :/
do you get like, any discharge or any thing ? thanks

You could take a home pregnancy test now ideally using first morning urine. If you are pregnant, it would come out positive around this time.

As for the symptoms, they vary a lot from a women to another and from a pregnancy to another. In my case, I had no particular pregnancy symptoms at all. Only symptom I had was sore breasts, but they are normally sore during my luteal phase (the period between ovulation and menstruations). Pregnancy symptoms are due to the rising levels of progesterone in your bloodstream, which also happens in your luteal phase. That is why it is very easy to mistaken pregnancy symptoms with PMS at the very early stages of pregnancy.

The only way to know for sure if you’re pregnant at this stage is to take a test.

Good luck! :)

What can i do to get pregnant ive been trying for a year already but nothing happens
so how do i do it i really want a baby. Help me.

The best time to get pregnant is when your ovulating.let’s say u start your period on the first, around the 15 -18 you’d be ovulating.halfway threw your monthly cycle.u can also check yourself to see if your ovulating.you can feel for your cervix and if its solft (like your lips on your mouth),slightly opened, and moist your ovualting.and also if u ever noticed you have a lil bit more of a white discharge while ovulating.if your not it will be dry and kinda feel like the tip of your nose which is hard.or you can check your temp. Daily at the same time and when your ovulating your body temp. Actually goes up a degree or so.or if u just wanna find out quick and easy u can buy a ovulation test at any drugstore which tells you when your are.if u try all that and still can’t concieve I’d talk to a doctor and see what’s really going on.good luck!

I was wondering if anyone knows any OTC meds to help get pregnant! I’m going on 6 months of trying and my doc won’t help me until I’ve been trying for a year or until I’m over 25!

are you using opk’s? these tell you exactly when you are ovulating and takes the guessing game out of when you’re fertile. also using pre-seed can help because it creates a more "friendly" environment for the sperm inside therefor helps them live longer increasing the chance that they make it to the egg to fertilize it. if you are ttc you should also already be taking pre-natal vitamins. these have vital nutrients including folic acid which is especially necessary to help form a healthy fetus. drinking 8 ounces of whole milk a day helps increase your cm and cutting smoking and drinking out will only increase your chances of getting pregnant. good luck!

Me and my boyfriend had sex 2 weeks before i started my period and he has came in me all those times we have had sex. And then the day before and have had sex multiple times on my period.

If your not using contraception (even if you are)

It is possible to get pregnant at ANY point of your menstrual cycle. Even during your period.

I am 19 and in college been with my boyfriend for 6 years well we go to the same college and so we share an apartment together well my boyfriend and i do have sex but he wears a condom and i am on BC. Well i found out from my mom that my little brother who is 16 knocked up his girlfriend and there going to keep the baby but they both already have jobs and such. Well anyways my mom keeps calling and telling me to remember to have safe sex or just not have sex and she keeps asking me if i am pregnant. I don’t understand why she is being like this. I am not going to have unsafe sex like my little brother just wish she would lay off of me. Why is my mom being so paranoid? How can i reassure her? Advice?

She’s paranoid because your little brother just got a girl pregnant…if it’s possible for him, it’s possible for his older sister.

Experiencing the aftermath of his mistakes isn’t fair but it’s what happens to siblings when one screws up.

Personally, i wouldn’t want my mother butting into my sex life and giving me warnings. I’m my own person, i make good decisions and i don’t need her looking over my shoulder. You’re an adult… I Would just tell her that you appreciate where she’s coming from but you know what you’re doing and that you’re being safe. Then tell her you don’t want to hear anymore about it and that you hope she respects that.

…and on birth control too (which may not fully protect, when on other medications)? I’ve heard the vagina itself is a hostile environment for sperm. So without full penetration, it’s quite hard for the little suckers to swim all the way up & survive.. Is this true? thanks.

ps – I’m not trying to conceive–but this is probably the best section for this; hoping for experienced/mature women to help! thx

There are millions of sperm in an ejaculation. Full penetration or not.

It only takes ONE to get you pregnant.

However, if you’re on birth control and you’re taking it faithfully, then you should be fine.

I was on the pill for 15 years and have unprotected sex for 3 of those years with my boyfriend. I never had a scare. And that was a full penetration! :)
