i was ovulating and everything. Now my cyst went away and It is easy to follow when I’m most fertile. I went online and filled out a calender to see when my best chances are conceiving. I told me one of my most fertile days would be on the 21st…It also gave me some other dates but since the 21st was my MOST FERTILE day..that is when I had unprotected intercourse. I am suppose to receive my period on the 2nd of every month…do you think it is a BIG chance i may be pregnant now..?

I have found some good tips in following link, It may be good for you too

okay, im just a couple of weeks pregnant. and im getting SO tired and being very lazy very quick.
i can sleep for 12 straight and wake up and few mins later i get so tired again. im fixing to go to morning classes, im planning on being a pharmacy tech, and it starts next month. and im scared this tiredness is gonna make me have problems. any advice? working out should work for me? oh me and my boyfriend are going to move into an apartment and they have a work out room, lately i been very depressed about my weight and i was wondering what exercise machines can i try? which ones i shouldnt try.

Unfortunately, during your first trimester, your body is working overtime to make a baby, so it’s not unusual to be exhausted all the time. The good news is that when your second trimester comes around (about 14 weeks) all your energy comes right back, and you won’t feel tired and lazy any more.

Good luck!

My partner and I have been trying for a baby for 2 years with no success. We’ve been tested at our doctors and it turns out he has a low sperm count (out of two test the results were = 2 million and 6 million sperm) and I have low progesterone (two test results = 10). I need to know if it’s still possible for us to have a child and if there’s anything we can do to increase our chances?
We are 35 both years old and otherwise healthy with a good sex life and I am ovulating every month.

My husband and I have been trying for our first for 3 years now and we are also struggling with male factor infertility. He has a low count (typically between 14mil-20mil and has had counts as low as 11mil) and also poor motility. Obviously there is a chance but not the hugest one. Anything below 20mil is cause for concern.

Have him see a urologist. Our reproductive endocrinologist referred us to a urologist due to his low count. My husband was put on Clomid. Clomid is not just for women, it can be used in men to help increase sperm counts and motility. Men are put on lower doses than women, and are on a daily dose of 25mg daily for 3 months. Our first round didn’t raise his count but improved his motility slightly, so we are giving it a 2nd round now.

He is also on a fertility supplement called Proxeed, made known to us by our urologist. Read about it here:http://proxeed.com/ My husband takes it twice daily, morning and night. He has been on it for a month now, it is to be taken for at least 3 months, with optimum results after 6 months.

Make sure your husband is on a daily vitamin, and my RE recommended a daily dose of 1000mg of vitamins c and e, along with L carnitine, zinc and selenium (these are all things found in Proxeed as well).

To increase your chances, you may want to consider IUI. My husband and I have done 2 IUI’s but both failed. We had 8mil sperm post wash our 1st IUI, and 9mil post wash for our 2nd. A count of at least 5mil is usually wanted for a good shot at a successful IUI, but I have heard of success stories with post wash counts much lower than that. Otherwise you can always resort to IVF.

Try not to have sex daily. With low counts, daily sex is not helping and will not get you pregnant faster. We had to abstain from sex for 5 days per our urologist orders for all of the semen analysis he requested (not the usual 2-3 requested by other dr’s) and my husband typically still only manages an average count of 14mil after saving for 5 days. So if we were to have sex daily, it would get us no where as far as ttc, for fun, sure, but not in the baby making world :) So shoot for every 2-3 days if at all possible. Sucky, I know. It also wouldn’t hurt to see the urologist and have him run another semen analysis. Sometimes 2 tests just don’t cut it, cause sperm counts fluctuate A LOT!!

For low progesterone, your dr can prescribe you progesterone cream, progesterone shots, or progesterone vaginal inserts. When we did our 2 IUI’s, I was prescribed vaginal inserts. You can get OTC progesterone creams online and what not, but when you are diagnosed with low progesterone, OTC creams are no where near strong enough a therapy to fix the problem. If you and you partner decide to do fertility treatments in the future such as IUI or IVF, your dr will automatically prescribe you progesterone to support the possible pregnancy.

Tons of luck and baby dust for you :)

My Depo shot ended the beginning of May 2010 and I still haven’t gotten my period back yet. During the 9 months that I was on it I never once had my period. Me and my husband are trying to conceive and so I’ve been taking a pregnancy test every so often to check because normally you lose your period when pregnant, but I have no period to lose!! Any thoughts on this??

Yes, it can take over a year for your body to get back to normal, though if you have concerns you should go see a doctor. I’m sure they’ll tell you the same thing, but they could induce your period to see if that starts things going again with (ironically) a pill called provera. It’s a birth control pill, but if you take if for 7-10 days it doesn’t prevent pregnancy and causes a withdrawal bleed (a period).

im scared i haven’t started my period yet and its been over 6 to 7 weeks now ..and me and my bf have been kissing and making out but we haven’t had sex but i hear you can still get pregnant from kissing.
im spitting up and all
my stomach is harding and i fell somthing

If you have not had sex, your not pregnant. Its not possible. Who ever told you that you can get pregnant from kissing, is an idiot. Stop taking advice from them, and let them know how wrong they are. You are not pregnant. You did not have sex. Your only 13, and if you have not gotten your period, the stomach hardening could be from that. And what you feel are probably cramps. It means your period is going to start soon. I don’t know why you are spitting up, but maybe you should see a doctor. But stop thinking your pregnant, because unless you had sex, YOUR NOT… So don’t waste money on a test.. & if your going to have sex, PLEASE, use protection.

you should take your pill the same time every day for the best results, so if you took yesterdays say at tea time as long as you take today’s at about the same time you will be fine, i think its if you are 12 hours late in taking you pill it is less effective ( you usually take it at 9am every day but one day you still have not took it buy 9pm it is less affective ) to be safe make sure you take it at the same time every day like as soon as you get up, when i was on the pill i used to put a strip of them in my bag so when i went to work and realize i for got to take it when i got up i had some with me save waiting till i got home, i hope this helped

I didn’t find out with the first pregnancy ’til maybe 6 weeks along? Lost the baby around 12 weeks. So I didn’t get to enjoy pregnancy to the fullest.
What about you guys? When did you find out? When did you KNOW?

When I got pregnant with my daughter I didn’t think We could get pregnant. In fact we were told we couldn’t have kids. I went to the dr to find out why I felt so bad. They did the blood work and surprise. I went literally numb from the top of my head to the tips of my toes. I was already 2 months along. And with this baby my hubby said he knew because my boobs had gotten bigger. Typical male for you. I took the test and found out I was 5 weeks along. Now I’m 33 wks and ready for my new baby girl to get here.
